Bundesliga referee Babak Rafati released from hospital

Following his suicide attempt on Saturday,the german referee has been released form the Hospital.

The match between Cologne and Mainz was called off as he tried to commit suicide,just an hour before the match was going to get started.

While talking to Bild,his father confirmed that his sons conditions was improving:

"I phoned Babak on Saturday and twice on Sunday. He is doing very well,"

"The first thing he said was, 'Dad, I love you'. He apologised to me and asked for forgiveness."

After taking such a step,Rafati is now going to lose his FIFA-listed referee status in January.
