After Manchester City's extravagant fancy-dress Christmas party blow-out on Monday, Arsenal decided to celebrate the festive season themselves, albeit in a considerably more low-key fashion.
First the squad enjoyed dinner at the Hilton on Mayfair's Park Lane, which overlooks Buckingham Palace.
Then they moved to the traditional glitterati hang-out, Whisky Mist nightclub, where they partied until 3am.
Players and WAGs enjoyed the opportunity to let their hair down, and from the smiles on the attendees faces, it is clear the mood was a jovial one.
Arsenal meet Manchester City on Sunday afternoon, in an encounter which is likely to feature a good deal less Christmas spirit than this gathering.
