French striker Karim Benzema favoured by coach Jose Mourinho for the defeat to Barcelona.
El Confidencial has now reported that the Argentina striker is fed-up with the lack of support he’s received from Mourinho, despite his goal scoring form this season.
While Higuain penned a new deal at the end of last season, his €4 million salary still falls well short of the club’s top earners – including great rival Benzema.
Chelsea and Liverpool are among clubs monitoring Higuain’s situation.
