Nepal and the Maldives played out a 1-1 draw in their South Asian Football Federation Championship clash in New Delhi on Friday.

The Maldives led at half-time thanks to a 25-yard strike by Ali Ashfaq, which came against the run of play.

It took just six minutes for Nepal to equalize when Sandip Rai headed home from a Raju Tamang corner kick to send their fans into hysterics.

The result leaves all four teams in Group B on one point, following Bangladesh and Pakistan's scoreless draw.
